Andrea Tennant Cox

The woman behind the work

What happens when the woman everyone relies on can no longer hear her own voice?

Andrea Tennant Cox knows that question from the inside. Raised in a middle-class family as the middle child, she learned early to adapt, keep the peace and avoid drawing attention to herself. Being bullied at school for wearing glasses reinforced the feeling that staying small and safe was the best way to belong. Alongside family expectations and patterns passed down through generations, those experiences shaped how she saw herself—and gradually distanced her from her own identity.

For years, Andrea was the peacemaker, giving herself away one accommodation at a time. At 50, she found a silence where her identity should have been. It was painful, but it was also a beginning: the moment she started to rebuild a life with more honesty,
self-trust and room to be herself.

Rediscovering the
lioness within

A painful family trauma became another turning point. In giving up so much to be there for her daughter, Andrea came face to face with a strength she had set aside: the lioness within. That season reignited an inner spark and changed how she understood her own wisdom and power. She came to feel that the universe was not some strange force outside her, but something she could also encounter within herself—in her own inner knowing.

This was not a return to the person she had been before. It was a deeper return to herself, and a growing conviction that women can question the patterns they inherited and choose what they want to carry forward.

From personal clarity to a calling

As Andrea made sense of her journey—from learning to stay small and keep the peace, to reclaiming her voice and inner strength—she recognised a purpose taking shape. She wanted to help other women find clarity, understand the patterns shaping their lives and claim their sovereign selves.

That calling became The Life Clarity Alchemist: a way to bring together Andrea’s lived experience, training and commitment to helping women come home to who they truly are.

Today, Andrea supports women to explore the roles they have learned to play, the expectations they may have inherited and the parts of themselves they long to hear again. She offers a compassionate, non-judgemental space to make sense of what feels true, reconnect with their own voice and consider what they want their lives to become. Her work is rooted in sovereignty—not in becoming someone else, but in reclaiming the authority to live as oneself.

Andrea believes women do not need to be fixed. They deserve the space and support to understand themselves more fully, honour what they have lived and decide what they want to reclaim. She meets each woman with curiosity and respect for her own pace.

Begin the Conversation

You don’t have to arrive with a perfect plan or know exactly where the path leads. Perhaps begin with a question: What would joy, love and happiness look like if they were truly mine—not simply what is expected of me?

If something in you is ready to explore that, I’d be honoured to begin a conversation. No pressure to have it all worked out. Just a chance to meet, talk and see what feels right for you. You can do it. It starts with realising where you are and remembering who you are.
